Forging Community Connections & Supporting Local Film Culture

Milwaukee Film is committed to supporting the local filmmaking community by offering formal and informal events for filmmakers throughout the year and providing direct support to the best and brightest filmmakers through competitive awards.

We help local filmmakers with:

• The Milwaukee Filmmaker Alliance (MFA), a membership-based group that seeks to drive economic growth in the region through advocacy, professional development, and financial support of and for Milwaukee's community of film and media professionals
   
• Milwaukee Film's Focus Finder Accelerator Program, designed to build a small cohort of emerging local filmmakers from underrepresented communities. Combining the best parts of mentorship and fellowship, this program aims to strengthen emerging voices in Milwaukee’s film industry pipeline.
  
   
• The Brico Forward Fund, which directly supports filmmakers and their projects 
   
• Fiscal Sponsorship, where we provide fiduciary oversight and administrative services for local film projects
