The film Queering the Script takes us into the world of LGBTQ pop culture fandoms, from cosplay to fanfiction writing. LGBTQ fans have created their own selfrepresentations using beloved characters from TV and comics, all while building inclusive communities. Expanding on the themes of the film, Queering the Fandom is an event that brings together practitioners of these fandoms from Milwaukee and the Midwest to discuss topics of inclusion, representation, and queer fandom community
